November 10, 2017 Dodgeball Exper ien ce By: Cade Killin

This year ?s dodgeball tournament was pretty fun. Personally, I think the tournament should be on a Friday night like last year. This year had only around half the teams that were playing last year, and not many people came to watch the tournament. I believe that this is a result of the tournament being on Saturday as opposed to Friday. The tournament was still fun though, especially watching the really fun matches and the really close championship.

Dodgeball Tou r n am en t By: Diego Jimenez On Saturday, November 4, NHS hosted its annual Dodgeball Tournament. This year there were 8 teams who competed in the tournament. The Pink, Not In the Face, SlumDodge Millionaires, Don?t Ask, Blitzkrieg, Revenge of the Nerds, If You Can Dodge a Wrench You Can Dodge a Ball, and Deacon Dittmers were the teams who fought for the first place trophy. Overall, everyone did well, but the final two teams were The Pink and Not in the Face. Both teams fought in a final sudden death round, and Not in the Face came out victorious. Even though not everyone won, SlumDodge Millionaires got awarded ?Best Dressed? and The Pink got awarded ?Most Enthusiastic.?

His favorite coach is Coach Pocock. Ty says that the practices are sometimes hard, but not all of the time. Ty has played basketball for six years. He thinks that the team?s biggest competitor is Sterling. Ty thinks that the hardest working player on the team is Ethan Johnson, and that his favorite teammates are Kevin Hermosillo and Tuff Sigler. Also on Monday November 6, all of the teams lost to Sterling. But on Tuesday November 7, all of the teams won against Haxtun.

He thinks the toughest player competition this year will be himself, and the toughest team competition will be Yuma. Yost thinks that the most hard-working teammate is Andy Dominguez. The high school's first game is against Strasburg.

Mrs. Schroetlin gives a shout out to Jimena Nunez and Tamara Penzing for painting a poster for Cooper Goldenstein as he recovers from his surgery. Thank you girls for putting all your time and effort into his poster. Dear Car olin e, I danced with my crush at the dance. I really love everything about her, especially her hair and her beautiful face. How can I admit my feelings to her? From, AloneMan443.

Dear Alon eM an 443, If you are in junior high, don?t, it's not worth it. If you are in high school, however, and you two were close enough to dance, it all depends on if you think she likes you back. If you two have good chemistry, I?d just say go for it. Love, Caroline.

A smaller boy is holding a large stick and hands it to a larger boy saying "I couldn't do it, your turn." The larger boy swings the stick twice and the other two boys go to the ground. Review s Call of Du t y: Wor ld War II By Em m an u el (EV) Vasqu ez Every year, either Treyarch, Infinity Ward, or SledgeHammer Games makes a new ?Call of Duty? game. This year, it was SledgeHammer Games?turn to develop a new ?Call of Duty? game. So far, people love their product: ?World War II.? Fans believe that having a ?boots on ground? Call of Duty is so much better than a sort of futuristic COD. ?World War II? is obviously set in the 1900s when the Nazis were trying to take over. The multiplayer is great, with new abilities and weapons. Nazi zombies are also great, but quite difficult. The campaign is probably the best I have played in years as it takes battles from 1939 to 1945. I highly recommend buying ?World War II.?

Pigs By: M ax Kleve

Pigs are four-legged mammals who usually live on farms. Female pigs are pregnant for three months, three weeks, and three days. Instead of having one baby at a time, they have a litter of up to 25 piglets. When pigs give birth, some of the pigs may not be alive, sadly. The moms take care of this job by eating them. Pigs are called barrows, boars, gilts, or sows. Pigs also make great meat, such as bacon. I would rate pigs four out of five stars, because they are kind of gross, but they taste good.

Picture frames are excellent items that are most commonly used to hold important pictures. Everybody should use picture frames so that their important pictures aren?t just lying around the house. I would recommend picture frames to anybody who needs something to hold their pictures. I would give picture frames four out of five stars. I would only give them four stars because they are very handy, but if you drop one, the glass shatters everywhere. One of the earliest picture frames was discovered in an ancient Egyptian tomb, dating all the way back to the second century A.D. It was made out of wood.3

The word meme originated from Richard Dawkins, who created the word in 1976. Richard Hawkins was an English evolutionary biologist. He coined the idea of a meme in his book called ?The Selfish Gene,? but he used a slightly different word, mimeme. Now in the 21st to take an image and put some hilarious bold words on it, and that makes people laugh. In my opinion, memes are enjoyable, but it century, the idea of a meme is depends on the wording and the image.

Tex as M assacre By Tuf f Si gl er Last Sunday, many Texans went to church and expected to come home like normal, but this didn?t happen. While they were at church, a man named Devin Kelley randomly started shooting at everyone in the church. He ended up killing 26 people and injured many others. There were victims aged five to 72 arriving at the hospital with bullet wounds. The family members of Devin claim that he was upset about a domestic and racist situation with his in-laws. Apparently, the man ran out of the church and drove for a while before randomly running off the road. Police officers went to the car to arrest him, but he ended up committing suicide.

New Delhi, India is one of the most populous capitals; therefore, it is highly polluted. A scientist in India says that the air there is so bad it is like smoking 50 cigarettes a day. New Delhi is in a state of medical emergency and the Indian Medical Association has asked the government to take urgent action. They also want the government to cancel an upcoming marathon. There are many factors contributing to this problem like fires, traffic, dust, and industries. In fact, it is so bad there that scales can't even measure the amount of pollution.

Kim Jong Un recently warned the U.S. about the ?abyss of doom? until President Donald Trump is removed from office. He also wants us to remove the hostile policy towards North Korea. Trump responded by saying, ?Do not underestimate us. And do not try us.? Trump stood in a South Korean policy room and he said, ?The weapons you are acquiring are not making you safer, they are putting your regime in grave danger.? Kim Jong Un is making nuclear threats the world cannot deal with, and eventually he will get a taste of his own medicine.
