Tica doesn?t really have a favorite coach, but her favorite people to cheer with are her fellow seniors, Anna Jelden and Bailey Hamaker. Tica has been doing cheer for three years now. Tica does cheer because she likes all the crowd involvement and school spirit. Her goals for cheer are to get first in state. By Clover Adler At the tournament, Holyoke won in two sets against Caliche in the first game. Sabryn Burris thinks the team did well but had some difficulties during the game. She also thinks that at some points in the game the team was playing to the best of their ability, but then at others they weren?t. The second game Holyoke lost in two sets against Haxtun. Tamara Penzing feels that the game didn?t go too well and could?ve gone better. She thinks that she did alright, but everyone wasn?t working very well together. In the third and final game, Holyoke won in two sets against Wiggins. Kristen Vieselmeyer thinks that the third game was definitely the best, and the team earned redemption from the last game. She thinks that the team really got their act together and started working better together.

Stephen?s favorite play is 98 toss, where he gets to the outside and he is gone.

Bal l er z Post By Et ha n Johnson Earlier this week, the NBA decided that they are going to change the NBA All-Star game rules to a captain draft system. They are calling it ?playground rules.? When it comes time for the All-Star game, they are going to choose two captains who will draft the players they want on their teams. Because of this, the All-Star game is eliminating the East and West titles, and any player can be on either team. There have also been rumors of the NBA changing the playoffs. Instead of the top 8 teams from the East and West, they might just have the top 16 teams from the whole league. Some people think that this would make the league much more competitive than it is now. The reason people think this is because when it's the East and the West, there are just two teams who dominate and make it to the finals every year, and it ruins the competitive aspect of the game.

Fun Page! Ri ddl es The land was white the seed was black it'll take a good scholar to riddle me that. What is it? We hurt without moving. And poison without touching. We bear truth and lies, But are not judged by size. What are we? I repeat only the last word you say. The more I repeat, the softer I got. I cannot be seen but can be heard. What am I? I never was, am always to be, No one ever saw me, nor ever will. And yet I am the confidence of all to live and breathe on this terrestrial ball. What is it? If you think you have the correct answer to the riddle, go to Mrs. Schroetlin and you could get a Dragon Dollar.

M en u do By Alm a Alejan dr e Menudo is a Mexican type of soup that has hominy, cow stomach, broth, lime, onions, cilantro, oregano, and red chili peppers. It is a traditional family food, and it is served mostly when there is a special event going on. It is eaten with corn tortillas or bolillo which is a type of bread. Most of the time menudo is red, but can sometimes be white menudo. I would give menudo a 5 out of 5 rating.

Yet i Th er m os By Kyr ah M Ccon ach ie There are many Yeti thermoses, but the one that I have is a Yeti Rambler. I have tried it out a couple of times and it really keeps my food warm. So far I have used it for chicken noodle soup, pasta, and chicken enchiladas. This is a great tool for the winter if you want warm food. I got this item at Walmart, but I am sure you can also get it on Amazon. They cost around $40.

Nin t en do Sw it ch By M ax Kleve The Nintendo Switch is the most recent console by Nintendo. It has some new functionality that has not been seen in a console before. It has detachable controllers that can be used together or separately for certain games. These controllers are called joy-cons. The selection for games is pretty slim right now, but it includes Mario VS Rabbids, a turn-based strategy game. MarioKart 8 Deluxe is also one of the games, with more features than Mario Kart 8. There are also more games. I would rate the Nintendo Switch 5 out of 5 stars for its fresh design.

W or l d N ew s Boys Bet t er at Ph ysics By Tu f f Sigler This could potentially be the dumbest study of all time. Scientists in Australia conducted a study and discovered that boys are better at physics than girls, specifically angles and arches, because they have to practice every day when they use the bathroom. Some scientists around the world teamed up and held trials about boys?and girls?physics grades. According to scientists Kate Wilson and David Low, boys know more about ?projection? and ?projectile motion.? The scientists agree that men are better at projectile motion because they are more familiar with the thought and can understand it better.

As what used to be Hurricane Nate weakens to a tropical depression, its effects are still being felt. The storm first made landfall in Louisiana over the weekend, and made another landfall shortly thereafter in Mississippi. Luckily, there haven?t been any casualties reported yet in America, but unfortunately there have been many reported casualties in Central America, where the storm hit last week. Ever since Hurricane Katrina hit the area, people have been better prepared for storms, which has most likely saved many lives. Nor t h Kor ea Hack s US-Sou t h Kor ea plan s

By: Em m an u el (EV) Vasqu ez I t seems the tension between North Korea and the United States will never end. Supposedly, North Korean hackers have stolen top-secret plans from the United States and South Korea. The details within the plans talked about a plan to assassinate Kim Jong Un. However, that?s not all the info they took. They stole about 235 GB worth of documents from the United States government, and they also hacked South Korea?s plan on how to conquer their neighboring country. Who knows what will happen next concerning North Korea?s plan of action, but citizens Jet Hom e fear it will not be anything good. By: Kyr ah M Ccon ach ie You may not believe it, but there is a man that has a jet for a home. Bruce Campbell believes a jet makes a perfect home. He also believes that his jet is stronger than a house and it will practically last forever. He does understand that some people might think of him as a loner, or that it is unusual to have a jet for a home, but he thinks it is completely normal. He is happy in his home and does not want to change it.
